Plan ahead to participate in real Wyoming ranch cattle work near Kaycee, Wyoming and the Big Horn Mountains. Learn to cowboy learning to roundup, sorting, trailering, roping basics. $200 day with food and lodging.  You may be able to plan it in conjunction with the annual Kaycee, Wyoming rodeo in the Fall or a cattle branding in the Spring. Experience the dust, the grit and the satisfaction from a hard day's work as you work tough Wyoming cattle alongside local cowboys.

Our trail rides are tailored to match your interests and experience --be it an hour ride or a full day in the saddle. Whatever you choose expect to have a great time. And remember that even though your trail ride rates will remain unchanged you are more than welcome to bring your own horse(s). One Diamond Bar has stabling available at a rate of $5 per horse per day.

 One Diamond Bar - THE HOLE IN THE WALL RIDE

Experienced riders do best on this ride. It is a grueling  8 hour ride, however it is the most beautiful and scenic of all of our rides. High red rock cliffs, pine ridges, deep canyons and ravines…the beauty is inspiring  and the views of the Big Horns, Fraker & EK  Mountain, The Red Valley and the Pumpkin Buttes are awesome. However this ride IS as strenuous and difficult as it is beautiful.  

 

 

One Diamond Bar - THE PINE RIDGE RIDE

Much easier but very beautiful is our ride into and through the pine ridges west of Kaycee, These are high ridges with lofty views of the Big Horn Mountains and high barren bentonite.

 

 

One Diamond Bar - THE SOUTH PARK POWDER RIVER RIDE

To the east of Kaycee and One Diamond Bar, the south fork of the where you will experience wide open spaces. As you continue on your ride you will enjoy seeing beautiful white sandstone cliffs, huge and graceful old cotton wood trees and the historic south fork of the Powder River

Rides can be made to the small town of Kaycee where you can check out the local sites and enjoy riding in the local arena. Regardless of whether you are seeking a little bit of time on horseback and lots of time exploring the local attractions or you want to be horseback all you can--we will help you design the vacation you've been hoping for.trail riding, training clinics, riding instruction, touring the Big Horns, fishing renown trout streams, working cattle or maybe settling in for quiet afternoons the possibilities are endless.

 

 

Our trail riding package includes:

RIDING:     5 days of trail riding up to 8 hours or more in the saddle.. its up to you. You are welcome to ride as                      little or as much as you enjoy!

LODGING:   5 days a 6 night in home stay with the Buckingham family

MEALS:   Dinner the evening your arrive, breakfast, a hearty boxed lunch and family style dinner the following 5                      days and breakfast the morning of departure

RATES:       $200 day
